Texas High School Basketball - Scarborough can't hold off Chavez

The Chavez Lobos basketball team scored 43 points and restricted the host Scarborough Spartans to 39 in the Lobos non-league victory on Wednesday.
The Lobos now sport a 8-10 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Milby for a non-league contest on Friday, January 5. Chavez will battle a Buffs team coming off a 80-26 non-league loss to Willis (Willis, TX). The Buffs record now stands at 8-12.
The Spartans (2-14) will now prepare for their contest against Northside (Houston, TX). The Panthers come into the non-league contest with a 5-9 record. In their last contest, Northside was nudged by North Forest (Houston, TX), 71-65, in a non-league contest.
