The Chapel Field Christian Lions basketball team (Pine Bush, NY), was overwhelmed 58-32 in Wednesday's non-league battle with the host Highland Huskies (Highland, NY)

The Huskies now possess a 3-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Rhinebeck for a Section 9 Mid Hudson III battle on Friday, January 5. Highland will battle a Hawks team coming off a 55-45 league loss to Spackenkill (Poughkeepsie, NY). The Hawks record now stands at 1-1.

The Lions (2-3) will now prepare for their battle against Tuxedo (Tuxedo, NY). The Tornadoes come into the Section 9 Orange County VI battle with a 0-2 record. In their last battle, Tuxedo was overwhelmed by Livingston Manor (Livingston Manor, NY), 61-37, in a league battle.
