The Redhawks come into the challenge with a record of 7-3. Mountain Empire won 36-30 in their recent non-league challenge against Horizon Prep (Rancho Santa Fe, CA)

Next up, the Tritons play the Pacific Ridge Firebirds (Carlsbad, CA) in a non-league challenge, on Friday, January 5. Preuss UCSD will attempt to improve on its 4-13 season record. The Firebirds come into the challenge with a 3-13 record after their 64-32 non-league win over Gompers Prep Academy (San Diego, CA).
