Riverside Pirates (Boardman, OR) backers were pleased Wednesday as they saw their basketball squad bounce the visiting Condon Blue Devils (Condon, OR), 71-49 in a non-league bout.

With the victory, Riverside upgrades its record to 14-2 on the campaign. The Pirates host Nyssa (Nyssa, OR) to play the Bulldogs in a 3A Eastern Oregon bout on Saturday, January 6. The Bulldogs come into the bout with a record of 3-5.

Next up, the Blue Devils play the Ione/Arlington Cardinals (Ione, OR) in a 1A Big Sky bout, on Friday, January 5. Condon will attempt to upgrade on its 7-2 season record.
