Conneaut Area Eagles (Linesville, PA) backers were in high spirits Wednesday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the visiting Sharpsville Blue Devils (Sharpsville, PA), 62-44 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Conneaut Area upgrades its record to 5-2 on the season. The Eagles travel to Cochranton (Cochranton, PA) to play the Cardinals in a non-league bout on Tuesday, January 9. The Cardinals go into the bout with a record of 2-4.

Next up, the Blue Devils play the Kennedy Catholic (Hermitage, PA) in a non-league bout, on Friday, January 5. Sharpsville will attempt to upgrade on its 1-10 season record. The go into the bout with a 1-1 record after their 63-35 non-league loss to Lakeview (Stoneboro, PA).
