In Wednesday's non-league outing, the Encinal Jets (Alameda, CA) basketball squad overwhelmed the host Kennedy Eagles (Richmond, CA), by a count of 69-34.

The Jets (2-10) will now prepare for their outing against Hayward (Hayward, CA). The Farmers go into the West Alameda County - Shoreline outing with a 4-8 record. In their last outing, Hayward was crushed by Liberty (Brentwood, CA), 79-53, in a non-league outing.

The Eagles now hold a 3-12 record. They play next when they travel to El Cerrito for a Tri-County - Stone outing on Friday, January 5. Kennedy will clash with a Gauchos squad coming off a 70-26 non-league loss to Fremont (Oakland, CA). The Gauchos record now stands at 5-9.
