Greer Middle College Blazers (Taylors, SC) backers were in high spirits Wednesday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the host Woodruff Wolverines (Woodruff, SC), 68-47 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Greer Middle College upgrades its record to 10-4 on the season. The Blazers host Greenville Tech Charter (Greenville, SC) to play the Warriors in a AA Region 1 bout on Friday, January 5. The Warriors go into the bout with a record of 1-5. Greenville Tech Charter won 47-36 in their recent non-league bout against Our Lady of the Rosary (Greenville, SC)

Next up, the Wolverines play the Chester Cyclones (Chester, SC) in a AAA Region 4 bout, on Friday, January 5. Woodruff will attempt to upgrade on its 9-7 season record. The Cyclones go into the bout with a 4-3 record after their 82-48 non-league win over Ware Shoals (Ware Shoals, SC).
