In Wednesday's non-league match, the host UMS-Wright Prep Bulldogs basketball team scored a tight 52-49 triumph over the Gulf Shores Dolphins.
In their next game, the Bulldogs meet the Bayside Academy Admirals (Daphne, AL) in a 4A Area 1 match, on Friday, January 5. UMS-Wright Prep will attempt to better on its 8-11 season record.
