The St. Augustine Prep Hermits (Richland, NJ) basketball knocked off the visiting Hamilton Hornets (Hamilton, NJ), 44-33 in Wednesday's non-league test.

The Hermits (7-2) will now prepare for their test against St. Joseph (Hammonton, NJ). The Wildcats go into the Cape/Atlantic - American test with a 3-5 record. In their last test, St. Joseph went down by Wildwood Catholic (North Wildwood, NJ), 60-38, in a league test.

The Hornets now own a 3-3 record. They play next when they travel to Princeton Day for a Colonial Valley test on Friday, January 5. Hamilton will encounter a Panthers squad coming off a 69-49 non-league loss to Solebury (New Hope, PA). The Panthers record now stands at 2-5.
