The Paul Public Charter International Pirates basketball team (Washington, DC), was overwhelmed 67-34 in Wednesday's non-league battle with the host Idea Timberwolves (Washington, DC)

The Timberwolves now possess a 9-4 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Capital City Public Charter School for a PCSAA A battle on Thursday, January 4. Idea will confront a EAGLES team coming off a 57-45 league win over Maya Angelou Public Charter (Washington, DC). The EAGLES record now stands at 3-7.

The Pirates (6-4) will now prepare for their battle against Thurgood Marshall Academy (Washington, DC). The Warriors come into the PCSAA AA battle with a 0-2 record. In their last battle, Thurgood Marshall Academy was overwhelmed by SEED DC (Washington, DC), 68-27, in a non-league battle.
