Ludlow Panthers (Ludlow, KY) backers were pleased Wednesday as they saw their basketball squad knock off the visiting Lockland Panthers (Lockland, OH), 78-68 in a non-league bout.

With the victory, Ludlow upgrades its record to 7-7 on the campaign. The Panthers travel to Heritage Academy (Florence, KY) to play the Eagles in a non-league bout on Friday, January 5. The Eagles come into the bout with a record of 5-6. Heritage Academy lost 60-57 in their recent non-league bout against Bellevue (Bellevue, KY)

Next up, the Panthers play the Seven Hills Stingers (Cincinnati, OH) in a Freelance bout, on Friday, January 5. Lockland will attempt to upgrade on its 1-6 season record.
