Medina Battling Bees (Medina, OH) backers were in high spirits Wednesday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the host Walsh Jesuit Warriors (Cuyahoga Falls, OH), 53-42 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Medina upgrades its record to 4-4 on the season. The Battling Bees travel to Strongsville (Strongsville, OH) to play the Mustangs in a Greater Cleveland bout on Tuesday, January 9. The Mustangs go into the bout with a record of 8-1.

Next up, the Warriors play the Louisville Leopards (Louisville, OH) in a non-league bout, on Friday, January 5. Walsh Jesuit will attempt to upgrade on its 5-3 season record. The Leopards go into the bout with a 9-1 record after their 73-52 non-league win over Garfield (Akron, OH).
