The San Lorenzo Grizzlies (San Lorenzo, CA) basketball nipped the visiting Mission San Jose Warriors (Fremont, CA), 71-66 in Wednesday's non-league test.

The Grizzlies (6-7) will now prepare for their test against Tennyson (Hayward, CA). The Lancers go into the West Alameda County - Shoreline test with a 10-4 record. In their last test, Tennyson got by Leadership (Hayward, CA), 60-34, in a non-league test.

The Warriors now own a 5-4 record. They play next when they travel to American for a Mission Valley test on Tuesday, January 9. Mission San Jose will encounter a Eagles squad coming off a 59-46 non-league loss to Castro Valley (Castro Valley, CA). The Eagles record now stands at 9-5.
