Illinois High School Basketball - Reed-Custer knocked off by Serena

The Serena Huskers basketball team scored 64 points and held the host Reed-Custer Comets to 51 in the Huskers non-league triumph on Wednesday.
The Huskers now sport a 13-1 record. They put it on the line next when they host LaMoille for a Little Ten contest on Friday, January 5. Serena will meet a Lions team coming off a 54-51 non-league win over Galva (Galva, IL). The Lions record now stands at 5-11.
The Comets (5-9) will now prepare for their contest against Coal City (Coal City, IL). The Coalers enter the Illinois Central 8 contest with a 6-7 record. In their last contest, Coal City ran past Gardner-South Wilmington (Gardner, IL), 62-51, in a non-league contest.
