    • Texas High School Basketball - Regents can't hold off St. Andrew's

    January 3, 2024: Austin, TX 78735

    The St. Andrew's Highlanders basketball team scored 68 points and held the host Regents Knights to 62 in the Highlanders non-league triumph on Wednesday.

    The Highlanders now sport a 10-2 record. They put it on the line next when they host St. John's for a Southwest Prep - South contest on Friday, January 5. St. Andrew's will battle a Mavericks team coming off a 69-61 non-league loss to Second Baptist (Houston, TX). The Mavericks record now stands at 16-5.

    The Knights (14-6) will now prepare for their contest against New Braunfels (New Braunfels, TX). The Unicorns enter the non-league contest with a 20-2 record.
