St. George's Dragons (Spokane, WA) backers were in high spirits Wednesday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the host Upper Columbia Academy Lions (Spangle, WA), 52-19 in a league bout.

With the win, St. George's upgrades its record to 9-3 on the season. The Dragons travel to Colfax (Colfax, WA) to play the Bulldogs in a 2B Bi-County bout on Saturday, January 6. The Bulldogs go into the bout with a record of 11-0. Colfax won 73-21 in their recent league bout against Chewelah (Chewelah, WA)

Next up, the Lions play the Davenport Gorillas (Davenport, WA) in a 2B Bi-County bout, on Thursday, January 4. Upper Columbia Academy will attempt to upgrade on its 0-3 season record. The Gorillas go into the bout with a 3-7 record after their 68-54 non-league win over La Salle (Union Gap, WA).
