Fans at Wednesday's non-league challenge between the Walton-Verona Bearcats (Walton, KY) and the visiting Trimble County Raiders (Bedford, KY), saw Walton-Verona's basketball squad wallop Trimble County by a tally of 88-34.
With the victory, Walton-Verona improves its record to 11-4 on the campaign. The Bearcats travel to Eminence (Eminence, KY) to play the Warriors in a non-league challenge on Thursday, January 4. The Warriors come into the challenge with a record of 2-9.
Next up, the Raiders play the Henry County Wildcats (New Castle, KY) in a District 31 challenge, on Tuesday, January 9. Trimble County will attempt to improve on its 4-10 season record.
