The Wakefield Wolverines basketball team scored 72 points and restricted the host Northwest Guilford Vikings to 34 in the Wolverines non-league victory on Wednesday.

The Wolverines now sport a 6-5 record. They put it on the line next when they host Cardinal Gibbons for a non-league contest on Friday, January 5. Wakefield will battle a Crusaders team coming off a 59-40 non-league loss to Wakefield (Raleigh, NC). The Crusaders record now stands at 0-2.
