Sacred Heart Academy Lions (Bryn Mawr, PA) backers were in high spirits Wednesday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the visiting Academy Park Knights (Sharon Hill, PA), 42-33 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Sacred Heart Academy upgrades its record to 4-1 on the season. The Lions host Faith Christian Academy (Sellersville, PA) to clash with the Lions in a non-league bout on Friday, January 5. The Lions go into the bout with a record of 2-2. Faith Christian Academy lost 50-19 in their recent non-league bout against Villa Joseph Marie (Holland, PA)

Next up, the Knights clash with the Villa Joseph Marie Jems (Holland, PA) in a non-league bout, on Saturday, January 6. Academy Park will attempt to upgrade on its 0-8 season record. The Jems go into the bout with a 7-5 record after their 46-29 league win over Merion Mercy Academy (Merion Station, PA).
