Haldane Blue Devils (Cold Spring, NY) backers were in high spirits Wednesday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the visiting Barack Obama School for Social Justice Lightning (Yonkers, NY), 45-28 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Haldane upgrades its record to 5-4 on the season. The Blue Devils travel to Yonkers Montessori Academy (Yonkers, NY) to play the Eagles in a non-league bout on Saturday, January 6. The Eagles go into the bout with a record of 5-2.

Next up, the Lightning play the Woodlands Falcons (Hartsdale, NY) in a Section 1 Conference 3D bout, on Wednesday, January 10. Barack Obama School for Social Justice will attempt to upgrade on its 0-2 season record.
