New York High School Basketball - Bowne trounces Lane

The Bowne Wildcats (Flushing, NY) basketball crushed the host Lane Knights (Brooklyn, NY), 59-35 in Wednesday's non-league test.
The Wildcats (4-2) will now prepare for their test against Bayside (Bayside, NY). The Commodores go into the PSAL AAAA Queens II test with a 7-1 record. In their last test, Bayside walloped Newtown (Elmhurst, NY), 40-33, in a non-league test.
The Knights now own a 0-8 record. They play next when they travel to Long Island City for a non-league test on Friday, January 5. Lane will encounter a Bulldogs squad coming off a 44-31 non-league loss to Campus Magnet (Cambria Heights, NY). The Bulldogs record now stands at 0-7.
