In Wednesday's non-league outing, the England Lions (England, AR) basketball squad overwhelmed the host Carlisle Bison (Carlisle, AR), by a margin of 57-19.
The Lions (9-8) will now prepare for their outing against Bigelow (Bigelow, AR). The Panthers go into the 2A Region 5 outing with a 9-8 record. In their last outing, Bigelow was trounced by Mt. Vernon-Enola (Mt. Vernon, AR), 66-36, in a non-league outing.
The Bison now own a 5-11 record. They play next when they host Barton for a 2A Region 6 outing on Friday, January 5. Carlisle will encounter a Bears squad coming off a 55-44 non-league win over Clarendon (Clarendon, AR). The Bears record now stands at 14-2.
