Shelton Highclimbers (Shelton, WA) backers were pleased Wednesday as they saw their basketball squad hold off the visiting Centralia Tigers (Centralia, WA), 46-43 in a league bout.

With the victory, Shelton upgrades its record to 1-4 on the campaign. The Highclimbers travel to Aberdeen (Aberdeen, WA) to play the Bobcats in a 2A Evergreen bout on Friday, January 5. The Bobcats come into the bout with a record of 7-5. Aberdeen won 46-42 in their recent non-league bout against Raymond/South Bend (Raymond, WA)

Next up, the Tigers play the WF West Bearcats (Chehalis, WA) in a 2A Evergreen bout, on Friday, January 5. Centralia will attempt to upgrade on its 0-7 season record. The Bearcats come into the bout with a 9-2 record after their 66-32 league win over Aberdeen (Aberdeen, WA).
