    The Start Spartans basketball team (Toledo, OH), was routed 69-37 in Wednesday's non-league battle with the visiting Detroit Country Day Yellowjackets (Beverly Hills, MI)

    The Yellowjackets now sport a 7-2 record. They put it on the line next when they host Cranbrook Kingswood for a non-league battle on Friday, January 5. Detroit Country Day will battle a Cranes team coming off a 52-12 non-league win over Denby (Detroit, MI). The Cranes record now stands at 4-1.

    The Spartans (4-6) will now prepare for their battle against Laurel (Shaker Heights, OH). The Gators come into the non-league battle with a 6-6 record. In their last battle, Laurel trounced Ellet (Akron, OH), 73-30, in a non-league battle.
