In Wednesday's non-league outing, the Grand Valley Mustangs (Orwell, OH) basketball squad overwhelmed the host Lakeside Dragons (Ashtabula, OH), by a count of 60-23.

The Mustangs (7-3) will now prepare for their outing against Wickliffe (Wickliffe, OH). The Blue Devils go into the Chagrin Valley - Valley outing with a 7-2 record. In their last outing, Wickliffe smashed Brooklyn (Brooklyn, OH), 44-29, in a non-league outing.

The Dragons now hold a 1-7 record. They play next when they host Conneaut for a Chagrin Valley - Lake outing on Friday, January 5. Lakeside will clash with a Spartans squad coming off a 62-24 non-league win over Girard (Girard, PA). The Spartans record now stands at 3-6.
