Ohio High School Basketball - Notre Dame-Cathedral Latin thwarts Hawken

The Notre Dame-Cathedral Latin Lions (Chardon, OH) basketball knocked off the host Hawken Hawks (Gates Mills, OH), 52-34 in Wednesday's non-league test.

The Lions (3-5) will now prepare for their test against Cornerstone Christian (Willoughby, OH). The Patriots go into the non-league test with a 6-4 record. In their last test, Cornerstone Christian notched a victory over Orange (Pepper Pike, OH), 62-22, in a non-league test.

The Hawks now own a 1-6 record. They play next when they travel to Richmond Heights for a Chagrin Valley - Chagrin test on Friday, January 5. Hawken will encounter a Spartans squad coming off a 72-39 non-league win over Villa Angela-St. Joseph (Cleveland, OH). The Spartans record now stands at 7-0.
