The Mt. Baker Mountaineers basketball team (Deming, WA), was overwhelmed 74-36 in Wednesday's league outing with the visiting Lynden Christian Lyncs (Lynden, WA)

The Lyncs (3-2) will now prepare for their outing against Nooksack Valley (Everson, WA). The Pioneers go into the 1A/2A/3A Northwest outing with a 4-0 record. In their last outing, Nooksack Valley smashed Mead (Spokane, WA), 47-30, in a non-league outing.

The Mountaineers now own a 2-3 record. They play next when they host Burlington-Edison for a 1A/2A/3A Northwest outing on Saturday, January 6. Mt. Baker will clash with a Tigers squad coming off a 52-29 league win over Meridian (Bellingham, WA). The Tigers record now stands at 2-1.
