California High School Basketball - Rodriguez knocked off by Manteca

The Manteca Buffaloes basketball team scored 58 points and held the visiting Rodriguez Mustangs to 43 in the Buffaloes non-league triumph on Wednesday.

The Buffaloes now sport a 14-3 record. They put it on the line next when they host Oakdale for a Valley Oak League contest on Thursday, January 4. Manteca will battle a Mustangs team coming off a 39-33 non-league loss to Pitman (Turlock, CA). The Mustangs record now stands at 6-10.

The Mustangs (5-11) will now prepare for their contest against Armijo (Fairfield, CA). The Royals enter the Monticello Empire League contest with a 2-9 record. In their last contest, Armijo was defeated by Vallejo (Vallejo, CA), 56-13, in a non-league contest.
