Monmouth Academy Mustangs (Monmouth, ME) backers were in high spirits Wednesday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the visiting Oak Hill Raiders (Sabattus, ME), 61-32 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Monmouth Academy upgrades its record to 1-6 on the season. The Mustangs travel to Telstar (Bethel, ME) to clash with the Rebels in a non-league bout on Friday, January 5. The Rebels go into the bout with a record of 2-3. Telstar lost 54-29 in their recent non-league bout against Madison (Madison, ME)

Next up, the Raiders clash with the Mount Abram Roadrunners (Strong, ME) in a non-league bout, on Friday, January 5. Oak Hill will attempt to upgrade on its 0-4 season record. The Roadrunners go into the bout with a 3-3 record after their 44-37 non-league win over Mountain Valley (Rumford, ME).
