Maine High School Basketball - Mountain Valley can't hold off Mount Abram

The Mountain Valley Falcons basketball team (Rumford, ME), was nudged 44-37 in Wednesday's non-league battle with the host Mount Abram Roadrunners (Strong, ME)
The Roadrunners now sport a 3-3 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Oak Hill for a non-league battle on Friday, January 5. Mount Abram will battle a Raiders team coming off a 61-32 non-league loss to Monmouth Academy (Monmouth, ME). The Raiders record now stands at 0-4.
The Falcons (1-4) will now prepare for their battle against Spruce Mountain (Jay, ME). The Phoenix come into the B South battle with a 4-1 record. In their last battle, Spruce Mountain edged Maranacook (Readfield, ME), 65-31, in a non-league battle.
