With the victory, Westmont improves its record to 5-9 on the campaign. The Warriors travel to Hill (San Jose, CA) to confront the Falcons in a Blossom Valley - Almaden Valley challenge on Tuesday, January 9. The Falcons come into the challenge with a record of 6-6. Hill lost 69-35 in their recent non-league challenge against Christopher (Gilroy, CA)

Next up, the Cougars confront the Irvington Vikings (Fremont, CA) in a Mission Valley challenge, on Friday, January 5. Newark Memorial will attempt to improve on its 4-7 season record. The Vikings come into the challenge with a 8-3 record after their 59-49 non-league loss to Foothill (Pleasanton, CA).
