The North Marion Huskies basketball team (Aurora, OR), was nudged 52-46 in Wednesday's non-league battle with the host St. Helens Lions (St. Helens, OR)
The Lions now possess a 6-5 record. They put it on the line next when they host Seaside for a 4A Cowapa battle on Friday, January 5. St. Helens will confront a Seagulls team coming off a 53-38 non-league loss to Notre Dame Prep (Scottsdale, AZ). The Seagulls record now stands at 4-4.
The Huskies (5-6) will now prepare for their battle against Estacada (Estacada, OR). The Rangers come into the non-league battle with a 2-8 record. In their last battle, Estacada edged Parkrose (Portland, OR), 60-51, in a non-league battle.
