In Wednesday's non-league outing, the Northwood Gators (Lena, LA) basketball squad beat the visiting Scotlandville Hornets (Baton Rouge, LA), by a margin of 42-27.
The Gators (7-9) will now prepare for their outing against Montgomery (Montgomery, LA). The Tigers go into the 1A District 3 outing with a 15-6 record.
The Hornets now own a 10-7 record. They play next when they host University Lab for a non-league outing on Friday, January 5. Scotlandville will clash with a Cubs squad coming off a 48-37 non-league win over Family Christian (Baton Rouge, LA). The Cubs record now stands at 13-8.
