Summit Hilltoppers (Summit, NJ) backers were pleased Wednesday as they saw their basketball squad knock off the host Union Farmers (Union, NJ), 30-18 in a non-league bout.

With the victory, Summit upgrades its record to 6-2 on the campaign. The Hilltoppers host Lenape Valley (Stanhope, NJ) to play the Patriots in a non-league bout on Thursday, January 4. The Patriots come into the bout with a record of 6-2. Lenape Valley won 43-28 in their recent non-league bout against Hopatcong (Hopatcong, NJ)

Next up, the Farmers play the Rahway Indians (Rahway, NJ) in a non-league bout, on Thursday, January 4. Union will attempt to upgrade on its 2-5 season record. The Indians come into the bout with a 4-2 record after their 41-22 non-league win over Hillside (Hillside, NJ).
