Next, the Eagles confront the Rio Americano Raiders (Sacramento, CA) in a Capital Athletic League challenge, on Thursday, January 4. Vista del Lago will attempt to better on its 4-4 season record. The Raiders enter the challenge with a 3-3 record after their 2-0 non-league loss to Folsom (Folsom, CA).

The Wildcats now have a 2-8 record. They take the field next when they host Granite Bay for a Sierra Foothill League challenge on Friday, January 5. Whitney will confront a Grizzlies team coming off a 11-0 non-league win over Rio Linda (Rio Linda, CA). The Grizzlies record now stands at 3-2.
