Fans at Wednesday's non-league challenge between the Canyon Crest Academy Ravens (San Diego, CA) and the host University City Centurions (San Diego, CA), saw Canyon Crest Academy's basketball squad knock off University City by a count of 53-39.

With the victory, Canyon Crest Academy upgrades its record to 5-10 on the campaign.

Next up, the Centurions play the Hoover Cardinals (San Diego, CA) in a challenge, on Friday, January 5. University City will attempt to upgrade on its 6-10 season record. The Cardinals come into the challenge with a 10-3 record after their 57-38 non-league win over Mater Dei Catholic (Chula Vista, CA).
