Fans at Wednesday's league challenge between the Chavez Titans (Delano, CA) and the visiting Shafter Generals (Shafter, CA), saw Chavez's basketball squad knock off Shafter by a tally of 46-37.

With the victory, Chavez improves its record to 3-4 on the campaign. The Titans travel to McFarland (McFarland, CA) to play the Cougars in a challenge on Friday, January 5. The Cougars come into the challenge with a record of 11-4. McFarland won 67-32 in their recent league challenge against Wasco (Wasco, CA)
