East Rowan Mustangs (Salisbury, NC) backers were pleased Wednesday as they saw their basketball squad bounce the host Gray Stone Day Knights (Misenheimer, NC), 70-15 in a non-league bout.

With the victory, East Rowan upgrades its record to 4-4 on the campaign. The Mustangs travel to Northwest Cabarrus (Concord, NC) to play the Trojans in a non-league bout on Friday, January 5. The Trojans come into the bout with a record of 1-5. Northwest Cabarrus lost 46-45 in their recent non-league bout against Central Cabarrus (Concord, NC)

Next up, the Knights play the Mount Pleasant Tigers (Mt. Pleasant, NC) in a non-league bout, on Friday, January 5. Gray Stone Day will attempt to upgrade on its 0-6 season record. The Tigers come into the bout with a 4-4 record after their 52-31 non-league win over South Rowan (China Grove, NC).
