The Whirlies (7-0) will now prepare for their outing against Ragsdale (Jamestown, NC). The Tigers go into the non-league outing with a 1-5 record. In their last outing, Ragsdale was trounced by Page (Greensboro, NC), 80-39, in a non-league outing.

The Wildcats now own a 4-5 record. They play next when they travel to Rockingham County for a non-league outing on Friday, January 5. Eastern Guilford will encounter a Cougars squad coming off a 55-42 non-league win over Atkins (Winston-Salem, NC). The Cougars record now stands at 2-9.
