Naples Golden Eagles (Naples, FL) backers were in high spirits Wednesday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the visiting Golden Gate Titans (Naples, FL), 37-35 in a league bout.

With the win, Naples upgrades its record to 1-5 on the season. The Golden Eagles travel to Bishop Verot (Fort Myers, FL) to play the Vikings in a non-league bout on Thursday, January 4. The Vikings go into the bout with a record of 3-3. Bishop Verot won 59-22 in their recent non-league bout against LaBelle (LaBelle, FL)

Next up, the Titans play the Port Charlotte Pirates (Port Charlotte, FL) in a non-league bout, on Saturday, January 6. Golden Gate will attempt to upgrade on its 4-7 season record.
