With the win, Independence upgrades its record to 1-4 on the season. The 76ers host Leigh (San Jose, CA) to play the Longhorns in a bout on Friday, January 12. The Longhorns go into the bout with a record of 10-1.

Next up, the Eagles play the Leigh Longhorns (San Jose, CA) in a bout, on Friday, January 5. Oak Grove will attempt to upgrade on its 0-8 season record. The Longhorns go into the bout with a 9-1 record after their 81-45 league win over Santa Teresa (San Jose, CA).
