The Lynden Christian Lyncs basketball team scored 76 points and held the visiting Mt. Baker Mountaineers to 14 in the Lyncs non-league triumph on Wednesday.

The Lyncs now sport a 8-0 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Nooksack Valley for a non-league contest on Friday, January 5. Lynden Christian will battle a Pioneers team coming off a 77-26 non-league win over Friday Harbor (Friday Harbor, WA). The Pioneers record now stands at 6-2.

The Mountaineers (4-7) will now prepare for their contest against Burlington-Edison (Burlington, WA). The Tigers enter the non-league contest with a 4-5 record. In their last contest, Burlington-Edison triumphed over Meridian (Bellingham, WA), 59-48, in a non-league contest.
