Hitchcock County Falcons (Trenton, NE) supporters left the game satisfied Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad notch a victory over the host Anselmo-Merna Coyotes (Merna, NE), 46-31 in a non-league match.

With the victory, Hitchcock County advances its record to 6-1 on the year. The Falcons host Southwest (Bartley, NE) to face the Roughriders in a non-league match on Tuesday, January 7. The Roughriders enter the match with a record of 3-5.
