The Auburn Maroons toppled the visiting Ithaca Little Red basketball team by a tally of 63-51 in Friday's non-league bout.

The Maroons now possess a 2-7 record. They play next when they travel to Henninger for a Section 3 Salt City - Metro bout on Wednesday, January 8. Auburn will play a Black Knights team coming off a 56-48 league loss to Fayetteville-Manlius (Manlius, NY). The Black Knights record now stands at 3-4.

With the loss, Ithaca falls to 1-4 on the campaign. The Little red host Maine-Endwell (Endwell, NY) to play the Spartans in a non-league bout on Monday, January 6. The Spartans go into the bout with a record of 1-2. Maine-Endwell lost 78-61 in their recent non-league bout against Johnson Central (Paintsville, KY)
