The Belen Eagles were victorious over the visiting Los Alamos Hilltoppers basketball squad by a final score of 70-62 in Friday's non-league outing.

Next, the Eagles clash with the Goddard Rockets (Roswell, NM) in a non-league outing, on Thursday, January 9. Belen will attempt to upgrade on its 6-7 season record.

The Hilltoppers (2-9) will now prepare for their outing against Capital (Santa Fe, NM). The Jaguars enter the non-league outing with a 5-8 record. In their last outing, Capital was defeated by Rio Rancho (Rio Rancho, NM), 84-41, in a non-league outing.
