New York High School Basketball - South Glens Falls nips Burnt Hills-Ballston Lake

In Friday's non-league contest, the host South Glens Falls Bulldogs basketball team scored a close 61-58 triumph over the Burnt Hills-Ballston Lake Spartans.

The Bulldogs (2-5) will now prepare for their contest against Scotia-Glenville (Scotia, NY). The Tartans go into the Section 2 Foothills contest with a 0-6 record. In their last contest, Scotia-Glenville was tipped by Johnstown (Johnstown, NY), 58-53, in a non-league contest.

In their next game, the Spartans battle the Niskayuna Silver Warriors (Niskayuna, NY) in a Section 2 Suburban - Blue contest, on Tuesday, January 7. Burnt Hills-Ballston Lake will attempt to better on its 2-6 season record. The Silver Warriors go into the contest with a 5-3 record after their 74-72 non-league loss to Kingston (Kingston, NY).
