In Friday's non-league contest, the host St. Charles Cardinals basketball team scored a close 49-43 win over the Canal Winchester Indians.
The Cardinals (5-5) will now prepare for their contest against St. Francis DeSales (Columbus, OH). The Stallions come into the Central Catholic contest with a 7-2 record.
In their next game, the Indians battle the Central Crossing Comets (Grove City, OH) in a non-league contest, on Tuesday, January 7. Canal Winchester will attempt to move on its 2-7 season record. The Comets go into the bout with a 2-6 record after their 40-35 non-league loss to Watkins Memorial (Pataskala, OH).
