The crowd at Friday's non-league challenge between the Rio Rancho Rams (Rio Rancho, NM) and the visiting Capital Jaguars (Santa Fe, NM), observed Rio Rancho's basketball team overwhelm Capital by a score of 84-41.
The Rams (8-2) will now prepare for their challenge against Eldorado (Albuquerque, NM). The Golden Eagles come into the non-league challenge with a 5-5 record. In their last challenge, Eldorado trounced Parkland (El Paso, TX), 60-58, in a non-league challenge.
In their next game, the Jaguars encounter the Los Alamos Hilltoppers (Los Alamos, NM) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, January 7. Capital will attempt to improve on its 5-8 season record. The Hilltoppers come into the challenge with a 2-9 record after their 70-62 non-league loss to Belen (Belen, NM).
