Louisiana High School Basketball - East St. John holds off Central Catholic

In Friday's non-league contest, the host East St. John Wildcats basketball team scored a close 68-62 triumph over the Central Catholic Eagles.
The Wildcats (7-6) will now prepare for their contest against Opelousas (Opelousas, LA). The Tigers go into the non-league contest with a 8-4 record. In their last contest, Opelousas nipped Ville Platte (Ville Platte, LA), 56-37, in a non-league contest.
In their next game, the Eagles confront the Acadiana Renaissance Charter Academy Eagles (Youngsville, LA) in a non-league contest, on Tuesday, January 14. Central Catholic will attempt to better on its 3-7 season record.
