Ohio High School Basketball - Watkins Memorial nips Central Crossing

January 3, 2025: Grove City, OH 43123

In Friday's non-league contest, the visiting Watkins Memorial Warriors basketball team scored a close 40-35 triumph over the Central Crossing Comets.

The Warriors (4-4) will now prepare for their contest against Dublin Scioto (Dublin, OH). The Irish go into the non-league contest with a 1-6 record. In their last contest, Dublin Scioto was tipped by Dublin Jerome (Dublin, OH), 47-45, in a non-league contest.

In their next game, the Comets battle the Canal Winchester Indians (Canal Winchester, OH) in a non-league contest, on Tuesday, January 7. Central Crossing will attempt to better on its 2-6 season record. The Indians go into the contest with a 2-7 record after their 49-43 non-league loss to St. Charles (Columbus, OH).
